Sauce Base:
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped or food processed
*Saute onion in 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat until translucent.  Add garlic, saute another minute or two.  Add both kinds of tomatoes and cook over low heat.  Sun-dried tomatoes can be substituted with tomato paste or omitted.

Seasoning Recommendations:
Green herbs like oregano, basil, or Italian seasoning blend
Red pepper flakes
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt & Pepper

Finishing Touch:
About 1/3 cup favorite red wine
*Allow sauce to simmer about 15 minutes or until hot and slightly bubbly.
